COMPANY BACKGROUND

Tele Tell Communications was established in 1992 and has been dealing in the import, marketing, installation & commissioning, and after-sales services of Telecom Equipment and accessories and Enterprise solutions. Initially, it dealt with the Australian Telecom Brand “Commander” PABX/ Intercom Systems. Tele Tell Introduced and popularized the product in Bangladesh and it dealt with these products till Mid-year 1992.

Tele Tell Communications was appointed as Distributor of Alcatel Business System (France) for marketing and Technical support for their Enterprise solution in Bangladesh since 1996 and had successfully supplied, Installed and commissioned Alcatel brand PABX systems to a large number of customers such as Bangladesh Army (5000 lines), Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (100+ 650 lines expandable up to 1000 lines), Navy, Bangladesh Railway, Shell Bangladesh & many others as per Customer list (attached) – and providing maintenance service to Customers.

Presently Tele Tell Communications is providing telecom solutions and after-sales services to customers as a Partner of AASTRA TELECOM Sweden AB (Former ERICSSON). In Bangladesh AASTRA TELECOM with the partnership of Tele Tell Communications has started the marketing campaign in bigger.

Alongside its telecommunications enterprises, the company has branched out to other Government of Bangladesh projects including equipment, infrastructure, and defense. Recently, Tele tell and its JV partner KEC, Korean Expressway Corporation were awarded the management of tolls on the Padma Multipurpose Bridge Project. This tender was evaluated at every month approximately USD 20m and has been a successful campaign for the companies involved. Additionally, it has partnered with Astrophysics to supply X-ray scanners to the National Board of Revenue in Bangladesh at USD 150m.

In addition, Tele Tell is one of a handful of companies to be a preferred partner of the army and has been enlisted as a supplier as of May 2000 with one of the highest levels of security clearance. For the past two decades, Teletell has been involved in the acquisition of military-based equipment for the Director General Defense Procurement (DGDP), be it radars at USD 10m, microwave equipment at USD 5m, target locators at USD 4m, and others. They have also worked with the United Nations to provide equipment to the Bangladesh UN Peacekeepers in Africa at USD 2m. Teletell is currently working with the army with the acquisition of ground surveillance radar for which it has successfully secured a contract with a manufacturer.
